made an orange chiffon cake with candied lemon zest last week <3 extra proud of this creation although it was rich as heck with 7 eggs.
last night i made a white almond cake with a cream cheese and lingonberry jam filling...also frosted with cream cheese frosting and adorned with some pretty sugared edible flower petals.
sigh...i know i know...i've been lagging in posts lately...but sometimes life takes ahold and doesn't let you go. pics will be coming soon.
notable food experiences lately...
Mama Fu's @ the Triangle....YUCK...i got the sesame beef and it came with no sesame -_-...and tasted awful...totally not worth it...it's basically a failed pei wei to me.
Papasito's off of I-35...yummy yummy chicken enchiladas! too bad it's a lil on the pricey side...

Great food and great friends make my world go round. My eating habits can be summed up in a few words: bold and adventurous. Hearty comfort food is always good, but I love trying new and exciting foods too. Plus, my taste buds really appreciate it.
